Winter Guard is a mix of color guard and marching band, dancing to music connected to their theme for the year, sometimes including poles (or other objects) in their choreography. Winter Guard starts after Marching Band is over and Mr. Sapienza is looking for more people to join. Joining Winter Guard could possibly be an opportunity to be more involved in the school and to make more friends.

McKayla Garver, senior Winter Guard captain, says that ”Winter Guard feels like one big family.” Winter Guard will perform in many different places throughout Colorado and even have a chance to go to state which, if that happens, means they can go to Denver for a night. Winter Guard will have its first meeting sometime in the first two weeks of November. The date has not been set, but will be announced sometime soon. Winter Guard hasn’t started and is actively searching for new members. There is still time to join and be a part of the amazing performances they put on.
