On November 11, 2019, Doherty High School held an assembly to celebrate Veteran’s Day. While most classes live streamed the broadcast from classrooms, a selected few were offered seats in the small gym to watch the show live. NJROTC had their drill team do a show.

To support the past military personnel, Veterans were invited to come and watch the assembly. They created a special PowerPoint to show the Veterans. To show respect 3 of the NJROTC members folded the flag and explained what each fold stood for.

Along with giving recognition to the branches they played each branches song and called out the staff members who had been in the military before.
