My name is Codey (former captain at Golden HS), and myself and several other graduates/rising seniors in the Colorado Speech and Debate community are hosting an online debate camp in the coming weeks. Given that this upcoming debate season will most likely be different in a variety of manners as a result of COVID-19, we want to give students a chance to practice before it begins. Colorado Speech & Debate Camp will take place from July 5-19, with each event occurring over the course of 5 days within this time period. We will be offering LD and PF (both novice and advanced sections) as well as interp, Congress, world schools debate, and extemp. There is a $5 entrance fee with all proceeds going to the Know Your Rights Camp, an organization that works to empower and educate and mobilize the next generation of social and political leaders.
