A little over a month before the elections, President Donald J. Trump tested positive for Coronavirus. The first lady, Melania Trump, was also tested for coronavirus, and the test was positive.

Mr. Trump is 74 and a part of the high-risk group of the virus. Trump tweeted that, “We will get through this together.” 

As BBC states. But Mr. Trumps doctors are saying he is doing “Extremely Well” with “95%-97% oxygen saturation according to Fox news.  As Trump appears to be getting better, but he isn’t out of the woods yet’ as his physician says in BBC News.

Other than the President, there were six cases confirmed. His wife Melania Trump, Hope Hicks, campaign manager Bill Stepien, Kellyanne Conway,  and Nicholas Luna.

President Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, announced Tuesday (October 6, 2020) afternoon the president “reports no symptoms” of the novel coronavirus after doctors discharged Trump from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center the previous evening. Meanwhile, White House Physician Jesse Schönau said that Vice President Pence continues to test negative for the virus and “does not need to quarantine,” according to Fox News.

According to the CDC, if you test positive you have the virus and need to quarantine for two weeks away from people other than the people in your household.

Later on Monday October 12th, news reporters stated that the President’s physician said,  “He has tested negative for the novel coronavirus ‘on consecutive days’ and is ‘not infectious to others.’” Later Mr. Trump said, “In Sanford, Florida that he would ensure the whole country enjoyed the type of treatment afforded to him.”
