FBLA State Results

Deztine Carter, Spartan Life Section Editor

Recently, our Spartans participated in the virtual state conference for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Qualifying students had to be a top place finisher in the nerve-wracking district contest to enter the state contest. In addition to class work, taking SAT and PSAT exams, our Spartans also had to complete a timed test that was submitted to the state.

Journalism, Newspaper, and English Tutor Mrs. Jenny George, expressed how “I am so proud of these young people. These kids have stepped up, shown up, and worked their butts off this entire year and they made Doherty High School proud every chance they had!” If and when you get the chance, congratulate our Spartans on all of their hard work.
