About the Candidate:
Q: What is your name and what position are you running for?
A: My name is Taylor Pierce, and I am running for Morale.
Q: Can you describe yourself and your personality?
A: I would say I am very outgoing and loud. I love having school sprint and showing up for things. I play volleyball, I love music in general, and enjoy going to concert. I love hanging out with my family.
Q: What do you enjoy about Doherty?
A: When I looked up to my older siblings, I always enjoyed Doherty’s vibe and sports, and I always enjoyed how the kids were so enthusiastic to be at the games. I feel like when I got to high school, I saw that fade away and I want to bring that back.
Experience:
Q: Have you been in student council before, if not what is something like it that you have been involved in?
A: I have not been in student council before. I was in middle school, but that is about it.
Q: What have you experienced that makes you a good candidate for the position?
A: I would say volleyball really brings out the loudness and spirit in me. I must get loud and pumped up for games, so I think it is easy to get that pumped up for other sports.
Goals/Vision:
Q: What is Doherty’s biggest problem and how would you fix it?
A: I feel that Doherty’s biggest is that kids just do not care nowadays. They do not care to support the school. They do not care to show up. I want to change that; I want it to get fun for everybody.
Q: What do you think the position you running for entails?
A: I think it entails being a team player for the entire school. I think it shows you really care, you want other kids to have fun, and that you just want to be there for everybody.
