Mikalya Cox prepares for the spring competition with Stephanie Ager looking on. Due to the shutdowns, the competition had to be cancelled.

Mikayla Cox from Stephanie Ager’s ProStart class was one of five students across the state to receive a scholarship from the Colorado Restaurant Foundation. She will be awarded a $1000.

“CRF is extremely impressed with Mikayla’s multiple accomplishments and is happy to honor her achievements,” says Grant and Scholarship Coordinator Courtney Baylie.

“The Colorado Restaurant Foundation, Colorado Restaurant Association, and the generous donors listed above are dedicated to supporting education in Colorado’s food service industry.  We feel that we have truly made a wise investment in the future by selecting you to receive this scholarship.  Congratulations!”
